We had the opportunity between 13th and 14th June to present one of our products, SkyDream Cam (www.skydream.cam) and our IT services in Accra, Ghana on the Ghana-EU Business Forum as promoters.
Ghana is an outstanding country in the region with many business opportunities.
We have found that local businesses are open to new technologies and development. Our basic approach and philosophy is to find flexible solutions for the market needs, so
we have had very constructive discussions and we are planning to start selling on the Ghanaian market soon.
SkyDream Cam (www.skydream.cam) was very popular on the Business Forum. This is our web-based marketing solution, which may bring 3000-9000 visitors, potential guests, monthly to hotels and tourist destinations’ website.
We are negotiating with other companies and prospective resellers.
We plan to install the very first webcams in the country, which are currently unique in the region. Besides the tourist-related use another kind of demands, like online factory visits or using SkyDream’s services on organic farms, also came up.
We have also got an affordable alternative for local micro-enterprises to be present on the Internet. We are looking for the possibility how could our knowledge be useful in Ghanaian eGovernment projects.
It was a great honor for us to participate in the reception at the residence of EU
Head of Delegation, Ambassador Diana Acconcia.
There was a constant interest at our stand on the Forum, it was especially honorific to host His Excellency Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana.
After a busy but successful business program, there was still some spare time left
to visit Kakum National Park and Cape Coast in the fortress.
Last week our Ghanaian reseller partner visited us in our Budapest Office. We are going to visit them in August and plant the first SkyDream Cams, too.
Special thanks goes to the HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency, to the Embassy of Hungary in Ghana, to the Ambassador Mr. András Szabó, to the Foreign Trade Attaché Mr. Dávid Békési, to Ms. Billey Sung and to the Ghanaian-Hungarian Business Council (http://www.ghunbc.org/), for their proactive and effective help by organizing the meetings and helping build our relationships.
